Dev Deepawali Varanasi Package Cost 2026: Quad, Triple, and Twin Sharing

The most common question before Kartik Purnima is not “what is Dev Deepawali?” People already know the ghats will be lit. The question is what a serious four-day stay actually costs once the boat, the hotel, darshan, and the car are included — and what is still extra.

For the 22–25 November 2026 group departure of Experience Dev Deepawali in Kashi, Varanasi Darshan Tours publishes three sharing rates. All of them are per person, and 5% GST is extra.

The three rates

• Quad sharing — ₹10,999 per person + 5% GST. This is the starting price of the departure.
• Triple sharing — ₹12,999 per person + 5% GST.
• Twin sharing (premium) — ₹19,500 per person + 5% GST.

Quad and triple suit families and friends who are comfortable sharing a room. Twin sharing is the premium room plan for couples or anyone who wants the room to themselves as a pair. The hotel is a premium property near the ghats and the temples, not a lodge on the highway, because the festival days punish long transfers.

What that price is paying for

Three nights. An AC Tempo Traveller or Ertiga kept for the group for three days, not a shared city bus. Three breakfasts, one lunch, and three dinners, including one local Banarasi lunch. A sunrise boat. Kashi Vishwanath with a sugam darshan ticket. The major temples on the Kashi circuit. Ganga Aarti. The Dev Deepawali boat on 24 November, with snacks and water on board. Sarnath on the way out. Airport and station transfers. A tour guide and local assistance.

Fireworks and the laser show are listed because they are part of the night guests come for. They remain subject to the official programme. If the administration changes the show, the tour does not invent a private one.

What is not in the price

GST at 5%. Flights, trains, and intercity buses. Laundry, shopping, tea, and snacks outside the set meals. Meals eaten in transit before you meet the group. Anything the plan does not name. Tips, room service, and extra shopping are personal costs. The PDF is explicit so a family can budget before they leave home.

How to reserve a seat

Pay ₹8,000 per person as advance. That holds the traveller on this fixed departure. Transfer the balance at least 10 days before 22 November 2026. If the balance is still open inside that window, the seat can be cancelled automatically. Dev Deepawali inventory — rooms and festival boats — is not something a tour operator can keep unpaid until the last evening.

If plans change

Cancel 20 days or earlier and the amount paid is refunded after ₹5,000 per person is deducted from the advance. That ₹5,000 is non-refundable. Cancel inside 20 days and the package amount already paid is non-refundable. There is no credit note and no carry-forward to Holi, another Diwali, or a regular Kashi yatra. A confirmed name can be replaced by a friend or relative if you tell Varanasi Darshan Tours in time and send the new traveller’s details.
